Dale Carnegie - Biography
Born in 1888 in Missouri, Dale Carnegie was an American writer, lecturer and developer of famous courses in self-improvement, salesmanship, corporate training, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
In 1936, he published his best-selling book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” which has since sold over 30 million copies worldwide and is still widely regarded as one of the most popular and influential self-help books in history.
His other books included “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living,” “The Quick and Easy Way to Effective Speaking,” and “How to Enjoy Your Life and Your Job.”
In addition to writing, Carnegie was a successful public speaker, giving lectures on public speaking, salesmanship, and interpersonal skills. He also established the Dale Carnegie Institute for Effective Speaking and Human Relations, which offered courses on these topics.
His courses and teachings emphasized the importance of interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, as well as the value of self-improvement, optimism, and a positive outlook on life.
