Simone Biles – Biography

Simone Biles is a former artistic gymnast and is considered one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.
She was born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio. She was raised by her grandparents since she was three years old.
Biles began gymnastics at the age of six and quickly showed her talent. By the time she was eight years old, she started competing in local and state competitions.
Major Achievements
Biles made her international debut at the 2013 American Cup, where she won the all-around title. She continued to dominate the sport and won her first World Championship in 2013.
At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Biles won four gold medals in the team, all-around, vault, and floor exercise events, and a bronze medal on the balance beam.
She continued to make history and became the first woman to win five all-around titles at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in 2019.
Biles also won five gold medals at the 2019 World Championships and set a new record for the most World Championship medals won by any gymnast, male or female.
She had an outstanding performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning four medals in total:
Gold in the team final
Gold in the individual all-around
Gold in the vault final
Silver in the floor exercise
